Haz-Mat Endorsed Drivers

Hayden Transportation is a hazardous materials certified carrier.

All of our drivers have been trained and are hazmat qualified. They continually update their certification to maintain their hazmat license.

Being a hazmat qualified carrier allows us to transport additional types of loads such as fuel trucks, propane tanks, chemicals, paint, corrosives, and other types of hazmat materials.

Shippers do play a role in the hazmat process such as: providing proper shipping paperwork, suppling appropriate placards for specific hazmat materials and providing emergency response phone numbers to carriers.

Drivers must be able to: recognize hazardous materials, properly apply placards to the loads that they are hauling and maintain them correctly on the vehicle, have a broad knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and they must have proper shipping papers for any hazardous shippment they have on their truck and maintain this paperwork during the corse of the trip.
